The FPPQ does not attempt to access the personal information of visitors to this site unless it is specifically and knowingly provided by visitors themselves. Any personal information that is knowingly provided by visitors is protected by the Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector, (R.S.Q. c. P-39.1) and is used only to send documents ordered by visitors or prizes won as a result of participation in a contest offered on our website.
The FPPQ may use software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of computers that have connected with their website. The use of such software does not reveal your identity and the FPPQ will not attempt to connect a given IP address to the identity of persons visiting their site. Your personal information is not collected and the FPPQ will not, under normal circumstances, attempt to track a person visiting their site through a given IP address. However, persons could be tracked in the event of an investigation following a security violation.
Information regarding visitors to this website is offered to no one other than FPPQ staff, when necessary. The FPPQ does not use information provided by visitors to the site to create visitor profiles.
